You are never just a number to us. Foundations San Francisco provides highly individualized, confidential treatment to help you in your recovery. Our master’s-level therapists offer DBT, CBT and other evidence-based therapies alongside mindfulness and holistic practices with a flexible schedule. We also recognize the importance of treating the whole person. That’s why our program also includes holistic offerings like yoga, meditation, acupuncture and massage to aid recovery at no additional cost.
In addition, Foundations San Francisco offers 12-Step-optional programs where clinical decisions are driven by your unique needs. Our treatment program includes a psychiatrist, who is available to assess patients for appropriate medications for cravings and co-occurring mental health disorders as well as consult with outside providers on a case-by-case basis.

Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is held in a beautiful, quiet, and unassuming building located on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. Everything for our IOP takes place in the same building: process groups, individual sessions, and holistic offerings, such as yoga, acupuncture and massage therapy. You can experience all of this while surrounded by calming views of San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. Parking, which is at a premium in the city, is also provided on-site.Our Facility
